There's a sticker campaign running through the London Underground right now. Bright blue signs, laminated like TfL's own signage, mocking anyone wearing camera glasses: "How does it feel to be Mark Zuckerberg's little bitch." "Everyone thinks you look like a massive nonce." A cartoon of a gang cornering one lone figure — "three against one on the Central Line." Instagram reel, 225K likes and climbing, comments full of people cheering it on.

We have zero investment in Meta. We're not defending the company, the product, or the surveillance economy that'll sell you a camera smaller than a drawing pin on Pinterest without a flicker of this outrage. What we're calling out is simpler: some of the people wearing those glasses are disabled. Low vision. Balance disorders. Degenerative neurological conditions where a camera and some code are the only thing between them and the platform edge. The stickers don't ask who's underneath the lens. They just point, laugh, and post the clip for likes.

And when disabled people say so — when they name the campaign for what it actually is — they get piled on. On Meta. By accounts whose entire personality is hating Meta. That's not activism, that's a mob that found a shape it's allowed to hate and dressed it up as a punchline. You don't get to incite a pile-on against disabled people and keep the moral high ground because your sticker's font is funny.
